Three-day training course covering the knowledge, tools and methods needed for power failure investigation.

Every power failure is unique and requires specific competences and skills of the investigator in order to find the root cause of the failure. In this power failure investigation course, the participants are guided through the principles of the power failure investigation methodology.

Besides theory, the course is embedded in many interactive sessions providing hands-on experience in the form of group discussions, exercises and case studies. As the focus of the course is on the investigation process, the technical depth will be tailored to the participants.

Using real examples of failures, you will be taken on a journey of a power failure investigator from start to end. Stopping at each relevant station of the investigation, e.g. request intake, first inspection and interview, dissection, information analysis, root cause analysis, reporting and follow up of recommendations.

This course is offered as open enrolment session in Arnhem (the Netherlands) and Singapore. To register, please refer to the different registration forms available in the Course planning table. 

Result:
After this course you will have gained valuable knowledge about the applicable procedures and principles of power failure investigation methods. This will enable you to understand the failure investigation process, access the quality and structure of an investigation, recognise potential investigation omissions and participate in failure investigations yourself.
